In Jharkhand, due to the strictness of the Central Security Forces, NIA's investigation in the terror funding case and the strict policy of the Central Government, Maoist terrorism and Maoist organization are completely on the back foot. Maoists have been arrested from different parts of the state, while on the other hand, a large number of Maoists have chosen the path of mainstream, calling this extremist ideology of the Left as hollow.

But some Maoist terrorists are also active, who are trying to establish their presence in some parts of the state, so that their influence remains in the area. But amidst all this, a news has come, which is a good news for Jharkhand, but can become a cause of concern for the neighboring states.

In fact, according to a recent report, Maoist activities are seen increasing rapidly in the border areas of Odisha-Jharkhand. Regarding these activities, it has been learned that fearing the aggressive search operation against Maoist terrorists in Jharkhand, Maoists are now turning towards Odisha.

According to reports, Maoists have increased their movement in areas like Nuagaon, Bishra and Chandiposh, which are areas bordering Jharkhand. While moving from Jharkhand to Odisha, Maoists have carried out incidents like arson, threat of levy and robbing banks in these areas.

In fact, for some time now, strict action has been taken by the security forces at all the hideouts of Maoists in Jharkhand. It is being said that the Union Home Ministry has given strict instructions not to show any laxity regarding Maoist terrorism.

This is the reason why Maoists, fearing the security operations being conducted in the interior forests of Jharkhand from Budha Pahad to Chaibasa, are infiltrating the areas of Odisha and Chhattisgarh. At present, Maoists are finding the forests of Chhattisgarh and Odisha adjacent to Jharkhand as safe havens.

Actually, there are many Naxalite organizations active in Jharkhand adopting Maoist ideology, but mainly the influence of Communist Party of India (Maoist), banned in India, is highest in this trijunction.

This Maoist terrorist organization has been active in Jharkhand, Odisha and Chhattisgarh since its formation (year 2004). In such a situation, it is also clear that this is a known place for the Maoists fleeing from Jharkhand towards Odisha and Chhattisgarh.

On the other hand, there is an atmosphere of fear in the border areas after the infiltration of Maoist terrorists in these areas. Apart from this, if seen from security point of view, it is emerging as a new challenge for Odisha Police.

Maoists are building a new corridor in Madhya Pradesh

Apart from fleeing from Jharkhand to Odisha and Chhattisgarh, a unit of Maoists is looking for a new base in the Kanha Buffer Zone of Madhya Pradesh. In the last two years, Maoists have strengthened their influence in Balaghat, Dindori and Mandla areas of Madhya Pradesh. Maoists are busy strengthening their presence in the Maikal mountain ranges from Amarkantak forest to Kanha buffer zone.

Although the Madhya Pradesh Police has taken this entire matter seriously and has taken strict action against the Maoists, and has killed Naxal terrorists in encounters, yet it cannot be denied that the Maoists are maintaining their hold in the entire region. Various activities are being carried out to strengthen it.
