Maoism is terrorism, 'Communist terrorism'

Those journalists, writers, activists and thinkers should also think that after how many corpses, will they stop favouring the Maoists there? Even those so-called intellectuals should now consider that, after the sacrifice of how many more soldiers, they will see the violence of Maoists as terrorism?

Representative ImageThere is an atmosphere of anger against Maoists (Communist terrorists) on social media after the martyrdom of 2 soldiers in the attack by Maoists (Communist terrorists) in Bastar region of Chhattisgarh.

From social media to the statements of all the state leaders, these incidents are also being mentioned. After the remarks of the Chief Minister, there was a lot of discussion at the regional level about this incident. But slowly everything is being forgotten as before.

Even before, we have seen that even after the Maoists (Communist Terrorist) have launched a fierce attack on the land of Chhattisgarh, no campaign was carried out to eliminate the Maoists on a large scale.

In order to give a message to the general public, the leaders are repeatedly claiming that the Maoist organization is counting its last breath, but the truth is that the Maoists (Communist Terrorist) have not only strengthened their organization continuously in the past, but there has been an increase in carrying out terrorist activities in the affected areas.

If we talk only about the month of November, then on November 1st, a villager identified as Muchaki Linga (40), in Bijapur District of Chhattisgarh was killed by the Maoists (Communist Terrorist). Same day Maoist cadres abducted and killed three villagers in Chhotebethiya village under Pakhanjur Police Station limits in Kanker District.

After that A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, identified as Ratan Dubey, who was on a campaign trail, was hacked to death with a sharp-edged weapon by the cadres of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) in the market area at Kaushalnar village under Jhargati Police Station in Narayanpur District.

On 6th of November An ITBP trooper, Amit Khan, was injured while defusing an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), planted by the cadres of the Maoist in Narayanpur. Same day one BSF constable, Chandraprakash Sewal, and two polling officials were injured when an IED planted by the cadres of the Maoist and activated by a pressure plate, detonated in the Rengagondi region in Kanker.

One ITBP trooper was killed in a blast triggered by the Maoist near Bade Gobra village under Mainpur Police Station area in Gariyaband District on 17th November.

On 23rd od November Maoists killed a deputy Sarpanch (head of the Panchayat, a village-level local self-government institution), identified as Dularu Dhruv, in Dhurbeda village in Maad area under Kurushnar Police Station limits in Narayanpur District. Next day (24th November) two workers, identified as Ritesh Gagda (21) and Shravan Gagda (24), were killed and another sustained injury after an IED planted by Maoist, went off at an iron ore mine site in Aamdai Ghati.

All these incidents have taken place in just one month and the Maoists (Communist Terrorist) have done it on such a large scale. Despite this, there is no discussion on the terror being perpetrated by Maoists (Communist Terrorist) in any national media and national debate.

Prior to the Lok Sabha elections in 2019, there was a major terrorist attack on security personnel in Pulwama due to Pakistan sponsored terrorism. After this terror attack, there was anger against the terrorists all over the country and on the orders of the government, the army took strict steps and carried out an air strike on the terrorist bases located in the border of Pakistan.

Even when the terrorist attack in Uri was carried out, the Indian Army carried out the surgical strike by entering into Pakistan occupied Kashmir area. Not only in the occupied area by Pakistan but in the region of North East, when the terrorists created a ruckus, the Indian Army also carried out its operation by entering into the border of Myanmar.

But whenever it comes to Maoism (Communist Terrorism) it is not always projected as terrorism. Though we say and write Red Terror and Left Terrorism through newspaper reports and articles, but when Maoism is written in government documents, it is defined as Left Wing Extremism.

The rehabilitation scheme for Maoists (Communist Terrorist) and a variety of other schemes also run. But the way the Maoists have waged war, it is clear from this that neither they have any faith in any kind of peace nor do they believe in the democratic system in India. Theirs is the only country that "power emanates from the barrel of the gun."

When a gun is handed into the hands of people who hold such views, it is nothing less than a terrorist. In such a situation, there is a need that now Maoism terrorism should be removed from the category of left-wing extremism and now completely put in the category of TERRORISM. This is not an insurgency but a complete terrorism.

Apart from this, all such people should now be monitored who call Maoists-Naxalites (Communist Terrorist) as revolutionary and call this guerrilla war as revolution and try to save them by giving them ideological shield.

Those journalists, writers, activists and thinkers should also think that after how many corpses, will they stop favouring the Maoists there? Even those so-called intellectuals should now consider that, after the sacrifice of how many more soldiers, they will see the violence of Maoists as terrorism?

Now it has to be understood that the basic ideology of Maoism is only full of terror. It is not an ideology of extremism but an ideology of terrorism. And Maoism cannot be eradicated by considering it 'extremism', but only by considering it as terrorism.
