Maoist killed student near Maharashtra border ; Six elite units of CRPF set to move to the Maoist-hit Chhattisgarh and Telangana.

Armed cadres of the outlawed Communist party of India have abducted and killed a tribal youth student in Nargunda police station limits of Gadchiroli district in Maharashtra on Thursday.
 
The incident occurred when the tribal youth identified as Sainath Narote was going towards a local Haat (market) when cadres of the banned group in plain clothes abducted and forcibly took him along , late in the night the Maoist threw his body near the village after killing him brutally.
 
A gunshot wound was vividly visible on the youth's body suggesting he was shot at close range, he was briefly interrogated before being killed confirmed sources who also asserted that the left extremists have alleged him for spying for the forces.
 
On the next morning the villagers informed the officials about the incident following which a police party was dispatched to the village immediately who later sent the body for postmortem, a probe has already been initiated in the case reported police sources.
 
Sainath Narote was a resident of Madhukar T village of Bharmagarh, a stronghold of the outlawed Maoist outfit, he was studying in Gadchiroli and had recently returned to his village in Holi, it's been reported that other students pursuing their studies elsewhere from the village are fearful about their safety after learning about the fateful incident.
 
Significantly, Maoist have targeted and killed a number of citizens along with security personnel lately as a total of three personnel of District Reserve Guard (DRG) were martyred when Maoist ambushed a search party near Painta Chi in Sukma.
 
Additionally a number of civilians including some delegatories of the BJP has also been killed in the state recently, triggering a tug of war between the ruling congress and the BJP in which the latter had accused the government of going soft on the left wing extremists.
 
 
Six team of CoBRA set to move to Chhattisgarh and Telangana
 
 
In a separate development six teams of the Commando battalion for reaolute action (Cobra) are set to be re-deployed in the insurgency-hit region of Chhattisgarh and Telangana. The devlopment occurred after the central government gave a nod to the re-deployment plan following a brief dip in the Maoist related incident in Jharkhand.
 
As per the reports three out of the six team will move from different locations of Jharkhand before 17th of March in the Chennapuram, Tippapuram, and other Maoist affected zones of Chhattisgarh and Telangana.
 
The said deployment are in view of the final leg of offensive against the Naxals in the mineral rich state, confirmed an CRPF official familiar with the development. Additionally some other units of security forces will also be deployed in the upcoming months said reliable sources within the union home ministry.
 
It is to be noted that Buddha Pahad region, a maoist stronghold from decades has been recently declared free from Left wing extremism, following which the officials have claimed that the insurgency in the state has now been confined to only a few small pockets.
 
Interestingly, the Union Home Minister Amit Shah in a rally last month had vowed to eliminate the left wing extremism from the country before the Loksabha Election of 2024.
