After Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge's comments on Article 370 related to Jammu and Kashmir, it appears that Congress has resolved to maintain a continuous state of controversy with this subject. When a five-judge bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud has unanimously ordered the removal of Article 370, which gives special status to Jammu and Kashmir, as legitimate, then why is Congress repeatedly making childish statements about it and thereby causing unnecessary controversy?

Appeasement politics: If you happen to ponder over this, this was an article creating discrimination among the common citizens of India, and the demand for its abolition has been made continuously since its implementation. Starting from the founder of Jan Sangh, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, many patriots have sacrificed their lives for the abolition of Article 370. It is very sad that Congress, on one pretext or the other, wants to indulge in appeasement politics.

Political mudslinging: Many Congress leaders claim that the Muslims of India are in favour of Article 370. In such a situation, if Congress also supports the continuation of Article 370 here, then it will be nothing else but a systematic ploy of Muslim appeasement. When Article 370 was removed from Kashmir, Farooq Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti and many Hurriyat leaders in the valley opposed it tooth and nail. But now when the National President of Congress has raised this issue again, it clearly shows that he is doing political mudslinging of Muslim appeasement in the name of this issue.

Questions on their intelligence: The new controversy started with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge saying during a speech in Rajasthan, 'What difference does the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir make?' Certainly, this statement of the Congress President raises questions on the intelligence and constitutional abilities of the entire Congress. On the one hand, Congress leaders in the Lok Sabha and Assemblies give long speeches on the Constitution and laws and do not get tired of telling how much benefit or loss the people of the country get by removing or adding any rule. On the other hand, Congress works to create confusion among the public regarding Article 370.

A good lot of differences: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge should understand well today that 'the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir has made a lot of difference.' Due to the abolition of Article 370, many changes have been seen in the country. For example, now people from other states of the country are also taking land in Jammu and Kashmir, whereas earlier they could not take it. Any citizen of India can now work in the state of Jammu and Kashmir and reside there permanently.

Gullible stance of Congress: Before this, only local people had the right to jobs. People coming to Jammu and Kashmir from other states and living there have also got the right to vote there. Now people from other states can also contest elections from here. Every decision of the Supreme Court will be implemented in Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh also. Earlier the decisions of the Supreme Court given in public interest were not applicable there. Does Congress not feel that all these issues are related to the people across the country?

Women saved from slavery: Today there is no separate flag of Kashmir, and the tricolour flutters proudly here. The separate constitution of Jammu and Kashmir has also become history. Dual citizenship of local people has ended in Jammu and Kashmir. The biggest relief from the abolition of Article 370 is that personal laws on women could become ineffective only when this article was abolished. Girls of Jammu and Kashmir now have the freedom to marry people from other states.

Corruption under check: A large number of people of Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh are also taking advantage of every law of India like the right to education, and the right to information. An organization like CAG of the Central Government is now conducting an audit to control corruption in Jammu and Kashmir also, due to which corruption has started to be controlled here. After the removal of Article 370, thousands of Kashmiri Pandits have returned to the valley under the Prime Minister's Development Package. Many facilities like jobs and accommodation are being provided to the people through the development package of the Central Government.

On the path of development: As a result of the long-term thinking of the Narendra Modi government Kashmir has also started moving forward on the path of development along with the country. Laws like the Child Marriage Act, Right to Education and Land reforms are now effective here too. Valmiki, Dalits and Gorkhas, who have been living in the state for decades, are also getting equal rights like other residents of the state." (The dream of one country, one legislation, one mark comes true, told Amit Shah, Union Home Minister, in a debate in Parliament).

Equal rights and opportunities for all: What Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in a meeting when he was on a visit to Jammu and Kashmir last month, is the truth of this state today. He had said, “After the abrogation of Article 370, there are equal rights and equal opportunities for everyone in Kashmir. Jammu and Kashmir are today touching new heights of development because it is breathing freely...For decades, for political gains, Congress and its allies misled the people of Jammu and Kashmir in the name of 370 and the country. The people of Jammu and Kashmir have now come to know the truth that they were misled all along. Jammu and Kashmir citizens were kept in chains for the benefit of some families. Today there is no 370, hence the talent of the youth of Jammu and Kashmir is being fully respected and they are getting new opportunities. Today there are equal rights and equal opportunities for all here.”

Terrorism on the decline: The Home Minister has also told the Lok Sabha how after the removal of Article 370, the number of terrorist incidents in Jammu and Kashmir has reduced significantly. Road work, which was being done at a slow pace when the state governments were in power, is now on a war foot mode. Electricity has reached the villages.

The world is visiting J & K: After the removal of 370, companies from all over the country are going there, due to which employment opportunities are being created for the Kashmiri people. Besides, the products manufactured there are being exported across the country and abroad. There has been a lot of improvement in the education system. Tourists, on whom the entire Kashmir depends, have also increased significantly after the removal of Article 370, not only people from different states of India are coming here to visit, but today people from many countries of the world are visiting Jammu and Kashmir. Coming to see the natural beauty.

Unexpected from a seasoned Parliamentarian: It must be said that after the administration of Jammu and Kashmir state came under the Modi government at the Centre, improvement has started to be seen on a large scale in every field today and this process of improvement is continuing. Therefore, Congress should also understand that the development of Jammu and Kashmir is not limited to this state only, it brings development to the entire country. Congress should also accept it only in a positive context. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge is a seasoned Parliamentarian and a veteran politician, hence it cannot be expected from him that he would stoop to such low-level thinking?
