Naxals admits killing of their 107 communist terrorist

On Thursday, the Naxalite organisation’s Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee, active in Bastar, has issued a note where they accepted the killings of 107 of their maoists who have lost their lives due to the bullets of security forces since January till now.

A statement issued under the signature of Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee spokesperson 'Vikalp' said that since January till now, 107 naxals have lost their lives in encounters and cross firing in Dandakaranya.

Amidst the acceptance of Maoists, Union Minister Amit Shah has praised the Vishnu Deo Sai government of the state on the issue of Naxalism. Shah said in an interview that 112 Maoists have been killed in 5 months after the BJP led government came to power in Chhattisgarh.

State Chief Minister Vishnudeo Sai posted Shah's statement on social media and wrote that we are grateful to you, Home Minister, for your trust. Under your guidance, we are moving towards a permanent solution to the Naxal problem. The double engine government has had great success in this matter.

Undoubtedly, the politics done by the opposition on this issue gives strength to the Maoists, but despite this we will take this fight to the end. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, India today is completely determined to end every kind of terrorism including Naxalism.

Former state Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu, reacting to Shah's statement, said that we all want the state to be free from Naxalism, but BJP's policy is not clear on the issue of Naxalism. Sometimes they talk about talks with Naxalites and sometimes they do Naxal operations and encounters. Our government had adopted the mantra of development, trust and security. We had also developed and earned trust. Not a single innocent person was shot in our five years. Poor tribals are becoming victims of bullets under their government. Therefore questions are being raised regarding the encounter.

State Congress President Deepak Baij said that wherever wrong happens, Congress will raise questions, and Congress stands with the people. It is not we who are raising the question but the victim's family, the villagers are raising the question on the encounter that happened in Kanker where three innocent tribals were shot. Was it not a fake encounter? Why is the government not responding yet?

Raipur MP Sunil Soni has questioned the statement of former Home Minister Sahu that Sahu had any role as Home Minister for 5 years? First they should make this clear. He has not made any clear policy regarding Naxalism during his tenure. BJP has a clear policy that they will talk only when the violence stops. If we resort to violence and also talk, both things will not happen together. The double engine government has set out in the campaign for Naxalite-free Chhattisgarh. This should be appreciated and there should be no politics on it.
